Position Overview:

We are looking for a Software Development Manager to join our team! As a Software Development Manager for Front-End Team, you will oversee a team of Software Developers, manage projects, timelines, and at times step into and be hands on with software development projects and development activities associated with the WebSites part of the company's proprietary software application.

In addition, you will also be responsible for working with other managers and leaders in the overall analysis, design, development, testing and implementation of company's platform technology. The Software Development Manager will work with Business Analysts and other stakeholders to ensure full understanding of the requests. You must be able to effectively bridge the terminology gap between business and development to accurately direct the project.

Primary Responsibilities:

● Manage and allocate resources in the design, development, and testing of new features in the applications
● Responsible for regular communication with others involved in the development process, the development team, and product team
● Oversee the implementation, testing, and bug-fix functionality by your team
● Responsibility for the team tasked with design and implementation of software projects
● Provide support to other functional groups as needed
● Design, build, and maintain efficient and reliable code and oversee the team of developers tasked with doing the same

Qualifications:

● 7+ years of software development experience
● 5+ years of management experience
● High level of knowledge of Relational Databases and Transact SQL is expected
● Strong in Object Oriented Programming, MVC, Design patterns and SOLID principles
● Experience with .NET Framework and its languages (C# and VB.NET) is required
● Experience working with ASP.NET WebForms is required
● Experience working with Web services development (SOAP, RESTful) is required
● Experience working with Active Server Pages (Classic ASP) is desirable
● Experience working with JavaScript frameworks (Angular, React.js or Vue.js) is desirable
● Experience working with Git, Docker, NuGet and CI-CD tools is desirable
● BS degree in Computer Science or Engineering
● Strong English language skills required
